Catherine Blauvelt for Democratic Committee Member
14th Ward, 11th District
Primary Election: May 19th
About
I'm a mom of three fourth-generation Pittsburghers, a librarian, a member of the Historic Review Commission, and a proud resident of the 14th Ward, 11th District. I'm running for Democratic Committee Member because I believe in the power of local government. I believe change is possible, and I want to help build a future that's better for everyone — especially the next generation.
That's why I've been showing up. For over a decade, I've knocked on doors, made phone calls, driven people to the polls, written letters, and made sure neighbors know who's on the ballot. I've been active with the Allegheny County Democratic Committee, helped connect candidates with voters in our community, and volunteered on local and national campaigns. I'm a researcher by profession — I deal in facts, not spin. I'm ready to listen to my neighbors, get the facts, and advocate for our district.
Catherine and David with Arthur (8), Lilah (5), and Maddie (1½).
